TENDER INVITATION
Aqaba Development Corporation invites qualified contractors classified by the Government Tenders Department in the field of roads, specialization in Road Construction and Maintenance (Fourth or Fifth Category) for the year 2026, to participate in:
Execution of Fencing Works and Marking of Truck Yard No. (1)
Tender No. (24/A/2026)
The project is located south of the city of Aqaba. The project includes works for executing a perimeter fence around Truck Yard No. (1) along with marking the yard for truck parking, in addition to topographical survey works for the yard, excavation works along the perimeter of the area, yard marking works for parking, as well as works for executing the perimeter metal fence around the yard and directional signage works.
Anyone wishing to participate in the tender must visit the Tenders Department at Aqaba Development Corporation at its offices in Aqaba between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM starting from Monday, September 28, 2026, until Sunday, October 4, 2026, bringing the following documents:
- A valid 2026 company or establishment classification certificate from the Government Tenders Department.
- A written authorization bearing the official stamp of the company or establishment and the signature of its authorized signatory permitting the delivery of tender documents to the holder.
- The price of the tender documents copy of (125) JOD only, one hundred twenty-five non-refundable dinars, to be deposited into Aqaba Development Corporation's account No. (0122-045700-500) at Arab Bank – Aqaba Branch, with the necessity of bringing the deposit receipt.
Notes:
- Gathering for the site visit for applicants will be on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the offices of Aqaba Development Corporation.
- The deadline for receiving inquiries is Tuesday, October 6, 2026 (no inquiries will be accepted after the deadline).
- Bids shall be deposited in the Tender Box at Aqaba Development Corporation before 12:00 PM on Monday, October 19, 2026. Bids will be opened at Aqaba Development Corporation at the same time, and all advertisements related to the tender will be published on the company's website https://www.adc.jo .
- The participating bidder must ensure the validity and completeness of the documents upon purchasing their copy.
- The provisions of the Revenue Stamp Duty Law of 2001 apply to this tender.
- The submitting bidder is required to attach a bid bond valued at (4,500) JOD only, four thousand five hundred dinars, in a separate envelope from the financial offer, valid for (180) days from the date of deposit. In case of submitting a check instead of a bid bond, it must be a certified check issued by an accredited bank with the Central Bank of Jordan, made out in the name of the bidder (as in the commercial register) submitting for the tender, and stating the tender name and number.
- The Employer has the right to cancel the tender or re-tender it without giving reasons and without incurring any financial or legal obligations as a result of this cancellation or re-tendering.
- The Employer has the right to award the tender without being bound to the lowest bid.
- The bidder must submit the original copy of the tender documents stamped and signed by them, and offers containing any conditions or reservations violating the conditions of the tender invitation will not be considered.
