Protection of the Area Surrounding the Hazardous Materials Yard / Aqaba Tender No. (49/A/2026)

Project Location & Description

• Trimming and grading slopes on the northwestern side.
• Cleaning and maintenance of the stone channel surrounding the outer perimeter wall of the yard.
• Supply, delivery, and installation of galvanized woven mesh for slope protection, anchored at the top with galvanized anchors and secured at the bottom with concrete blocks.

   

Instructions for Tender Purchase

1. Valid 2026 Company/Establishment Classification Certificate issued by the Government Tenders Department.
2. Written authorization letter bearing the official company/establishment stamp and the signature of the authorized signatory, authorizing the holder to receive the tender documents.
3. Non-refundable tender document fee of 75 JOD (Seventy-Five Jordanian Dinars only), deposited into the Aqaba Development Corporation Account No. (0122-045700-500) at Arab Bank – Aqaba Branch. The bank deposit receipt must be presented upon purchase.

    

Notes & Terms

1. Site Visit Gathering: Bidders shall gather for the site visit on Monday, November 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Aqaba Development Corporation offices.
2. Deadline for Inquiries: The last date to submit inquiries is Wednesday, November 18, 2026. (No inquiries will be accepted after this date).
3. Submission Deadline & Opening: Bids must be deposited in the Tender Box at Aqaba Development Corporation before 12:00 PM on Wednesday, December 2, 2026. Bids will be opened at the corporation's offices at the same time, and all tender-related announcements will be published on the company's official website.
4. Document Completeness: Bidders must ensure the integrity and completeness of all tender documents upon purchase.
5. Applicable Laws: This tender is subject to the provisions of the Revenue Stamp Duty Law of 2001.
6. Bid Bond: Bidders are required to submit a Bid Bond of 2,500 JOD (Two Thousand Five Hundred Jordanian Dinars only) in a separate envelope from the financial offer, valid for (90) days from the date of submission. If a certified check is submitted instead of a bid bond, it must be a certified manager's check issued by a bank accredited by the Central Bank of Jordan, drawn in the bidder's name (matching the commercial register), and clearly stating the tender name and number.
7. Cancellation Rights: The employer reserves the right to cancel or re-tender this bid without stating reasons, and without incurring any financial or legal obligations as a result.
8. Award Criteria: The employer reserves the right to award the tender without being bound to accept the lowest bid.
9. Submission Format: The bidder must submit their financial offer in a single sealed envelope containing the original stamped and signed copy of the tender documents. Any bids containing conditional terms or reservations contrary to the tender conditions will be rejected.
