THE AQABA BULK TERMINAL (SILICA) PROJECT
The Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) is the main development arm for the Aqaba Special Economic Zone (ASEZ), a liberalized, low-tax, duty-free, multi-sector economic development zone. ADC is a private shareholding company launched by the government of Jordan and Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) to transform ASEZ into a world leading hub for business and leisure. ADC's assets include the ports of Jordan, Aqaba's airport and strategic parcels of land covering most of the 375 km2 Aqaba zone, as well as key utility and infrastructure development / management rights within ASEZ.
The Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) is currently looking to establish a private partnership project for handling Silica through reusing the existing Cement Terminal facilities for this purpose. The project consists of rehabilitating the existing facilities previously used for handling Cement and Mu’tah floating berth under a BOT agreement.

The Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from reputable and qualified firms to build, operate and transfer the Aqaba New Silica Terminal under a 20-year concession period.  

Only firms that submit a fully completed EOI Form will receive a formal Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and the accompanying Project Information Memorandum (PIM).  ADC will announce a short list of qualified bidders that may participate in the formal tender process.  

All interested firms should complete and submit an EOI Form to ADC before Sunday, May 25th 2025 to the email below. The required EOI form can be downloaded through the QR code below, or requested from the following email address: Tenders@adc.jo  and contact us on Tel no.  +962-3-203-9100.
A site visit will be arranged for interested firms to visit the site of the project on Monday June 2ed 2025, at 11:00 am local time of Jordan, interested firms must be present in ADC’s offices at the specified time and date.

The last day for receiving questions & inquiries must be in writing via email to tenders@adc.jo  before Sunday, June 15th 2025.
Submission will be via email to tenders@adc.jo before/on Sunday July 13th 2025 at 4:00 pm in local time of Jordan.
All interested firms according to the previous announcement will be shortlisted and there is no need to resubmit a new EOI.
