Part of ADC’s mandate is to accelerate the development of ASEZ by maximizing the public- private partnership (PPP) scheme as well as contributing to potential areas of investment. ADC , through its PPP approach has successfully attracted global developers and operators for vital facilities including the Aqaba Container Terminal, Aqaba Air Cargo Terminal and Aqaba Port Marine Services Company. Additionally, a number of enabler projects have been launched through ADC, such as the Aqaba International School, the Aqaba Recreational Centre, the Baranice Beach Project, and the development of infrastructure in specific areas to prepare them for investment. Finally, ADC's subsidiaries or associates include Aqaba International Schools Company, Aqaba Facilities Management Company, Aqaba Ports Management and Operation Company, Saraya Aqaba, Jordan National Real Estate Company, Aqaba Water Company and Aqaba Airport Company.
