Jordan's ports in Aqaba Special Economic Zone (ASEZ) emphasize its capacity and preferential advantages to be the world's preferred gateway to brotherly Iraq. Aqaba today has 12 specialized ports incorporating a total of 28 berths with an annual handling capacity of more than 40 million tons of dry bulk, ro-ro and general cargo, and 2 million TEUs of containers, which allow it to be ready to serve the bilateral and transit trade with neighboring countries, Iraq.

Exporting Iraqi Oil Terminal

Plans are in place to construct an oil pipeline from Basra/ Iraq to Aqaba/ Jordan with a capacity of 1 million barrels per day.
