In 2010, a BOT Agreement was signed
between Aqaba Development Corporation and Jordan Phosphate Mines Co. To Develop and Operate The New Phosphate
Terminal. In 2013, the construction was completed and the terminal is being operated.
The scope of the project consist of
constructing and operating a new Phosphate Marine Terminal and Storage Facility
with a handling capacity of (4 Million tons to 6 million tons max.) of Rock
Phosphate.
