One of JPTD’s primary projects is Tala Bay, which is the first resort / lifestyle complex in Jordan situated on the shores of the Red Sea. The project lies 14 kilometers south of the City of Aqaba and is part of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority. It occupies an area of 2.7 million meters squared and extends on a 7 kilometer shoreline, descending westward toward the sea to provide panoramic views of the marina and mountains of Sinai.

Tala Bay is planned to be fully self-sufficient from an infrastructure point of view, providing a diverse range of integrated services that span roads, electrical grids, water supply and modern communication technologies. The project’s components also feature stunning aesthetics that combine timeless elements of local and regional architecture with creative modern touches, thus transporting residents and visitors into an oasis of tranquility where every need is anticipated and fulfilled.

The beating hearts of the Tala Bay project are the Marina, and Beach Club, all of which commenced operations in 2005. The total area of the marina is around 30,000 square meters, with a berth that services approximately 150 yachts and boats and 3 boats of up to 40 meters. The Marina also has an independent harbor master building and a fueling station to provide services to vessels, in addition to being an official port of entry for Jordan through the Red Sea.

The project also offers a wide variety of residential complexes located in its center and adjacent to its proprietary golf course. These areas provide apartments, villas and semi-villas, while the master plan has made provisions for complementary facilities that include a school, hospital, clinic, supermarket, bakery and others. A portion of the project has been allocated as service residence, providing 750 residential units of various styles and sizes. The public service area is situated behind the service residence in isolation from all other residential units. It also encompasses handcrafts and maintenance service centers.
