Aqaba’s Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal – LNG (The Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Terminal), currently operational and connected to Araba Gas Pipeline, consists of Floating Storage Unit FSU and on- land regasification unit with 170K/M3 total capacity of LNG and on-shore facilities.

The aim of the project is to replace the existing FSRU with a Floating Storage Unit (FSU) and an on-land regasification unit and some modifications for the existing facilities, in which it will allow us to: 

• Reduce cost, increase competitiveness and efficiency.
• Potential for gas export through tie-in point and gas pipeline.
  
  

ADC is currently pursuing project financing through coordination with NEPCO and MEMR in order to initiate the development process of the project.
