Aqaba New Port
The Industrial Terminal is located in the South Port. It was built in 1981 and comprises two berths (east and west berths).
The scope of the project consists an advanced operating systems, recruit qualified Jordanian nationals to work at the port and provide employees with training both in Jordan and abroad.
In 2010, a BOT Agreement was signed between Aqaba Development Corporation and Jordan Phosphate Mines Co. To Develop and Operate The New Phosphate Terminal.
